Happy Halloween

This year I was so excited to do a Peter Pan theme... you know, Peter Pan, Wendy and Tinkerbelle! I was prepared to be flexible with Hannah and if she wasn't into being Wendy I could always let her be Tink and have Ellie go as a little pirate... still really cute. Well, just like last year, Hannah had her own plans... Cinderella! That was the only costume for her this year and there was no negotiating! I thought and thought about what could the babies be... finally I hit the internet for some mouse costume searching! Sure enough, I found two cute little mouse costumes. We took our little Cinderella and her mice to our Church for Trunk or Treat where they all ran around trick or treating and playing with friends. Once we got home we loaded them up in Cinderella's "horse-drawn carriage" and hit the neighborhood for some real trick or treating. It was so much fun. I'm pretty sure that Hannah rang the doorbell on her first house about 5 times before we got to her. We forgot to let her know that not ALL of the houses we tried would be home to give her candy. After that it was smooth sailing! Here are some pictures!

Last Soccer Game

Today was Hannah's last soccer game and I have to admit that I am not that sad to see it ending! It has been a blast watching her play and have fun but WOW... the energy it takes to get us to just ONE soccer practice a week and ONE game on Saturday is unbelievable. I can not imagine how crazy life will be in the years to come when our little ones have places to go too. For now, I am enjoying a life without too many commitments or obligations. The chaos of getting 3 kids to practices, lessons and games will be here soon enough. I'm glad that we were able to play soccer and appreciate the simpleness of life for now! Here are a couple pics of Eli and Ellie all bundled up to watch sister play soccer... I'm also putting in a video of Hannah with Eli from this morning...

My little guy... so cute! Sweet little Ellie!

Loving Preschool

Since Hannah started preschool she has learned so many new things. She is going three days a week and then she stays home with me on the other two days. Lately, it seems like she has a new song to sing every day... Here she is singing the days of the week and Alice...

1st Soccer Game

Of all the ways I imagined our first soccer game going, this scenario never crossed my mind. Hannah was doing great for the first 5 minutes or so. She was running around after the ball and laughing and having a blast... so far, so good. Then when all the kids go back to the center of the field to kick off again, the coach asks Hannah if she's ok... that's when I noticed she was crying. He let the game start, so I figure she's ok... The kids all start chasing the ball... hannah stays center field crying... the kids run back past her towards the other goal... Hannah still stays center field crying... When we got her to the side, she was so upset and I asked her what happened and between sobs she answered, "They wouldn't let me have my turn.." She thought they were supposed to take turns.... She wouldn't go back in at all! We have had a successful practice since then and our next game is on Saturday... I'm crossing my fingers we make it through without tears! Here are some pics... she did rejoin her team for hand shakes and snacks... that's the best part anyway, right? The first one is of her best friend D'Mya standing with her in the middle of the field to check on her while the rest of the kids played soccer...

1st Day of PreSchool

Hannah had her first day of preschool on Monday and I was so sad... I can't believe how big she is. She was so excited for school and I had her prepared that she would not be going to Miss Debra's house anymore... I just wasn't prepared to see her little desk and cubby with her name on it! She looked at Dustin and me with big eyes that looked a little nervous as we stepped back and let Miss Nicole show her to her desk, but she did great. She didn't cling to us or cry or anything. I am shocked at how fast the last 4 years have flown... where did my baby go??? She is growing into this funny and suprisingly outgoing (Dustin and I were pretty shy) little girl. I am so proud of this little girl!
